I'm Aoife. I'm a yoga teacher specialising in Yin Yoga & Meditation. I provide a calm, safe space within which you can feel secure and inspired to go inward, get back in touch with your body, reconnect with your inner-selves and learn to feel again!
I started yoga in 2012 and I did not like it! It was a hot yoga class, the studio stank & I reeeeeallly struggled! I went back, though, because I felt pretty good afterwards! I kept going back (I got used to the smell!) and over the last 10 years I have tried a variety of styles before finding my home in Yin Yoga.
I feel Yin Yoga to be such a nourishing and meditative practice that can bring you benefits such as stress & anxiety-relief, joint health & mobility, lightness, grounding, mindfulness, pelvic health including easier menstruation (if you have a body that bleeds), better sleep etc. Yin Yoga & Meditation have brought me, personally, so much physical and emotional/mental healing so I was guided to learn to teach in 2019 and facilitate my students to feel the magic of Yin Yoga.
Yin Yoga and Meditation really are practices for all levels of (in)experience! I hope to see you for a class soon :)
