I'm Emma, from Vancouver, Canada. I fell in love with yoga and meditation while in university. I began with a love for hot yoga, attending as many classes as possible. A couple years later, I decided to attend my first (200-hour) yoga teacher training in Goa, India. I became certified to teach multiple styles of yoga, including Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Yin and traditional Hatha. This yoga teacher training only scratched the surface for me and intensified my quest for knowledge of all things yoga and meditation. A few weeks later, I decided to pursue the 300-hour Hatha yoga teacher training in Rishikesh, India. During this training, I deepened my knowledge of teaching, yogic philosophy and anatomy.
I have also completed my 100 hour meditation teacher training in Goa, India. This enriched my own meditation practice and has also allowed me to confidently introduce meditation to those who are new to the practice, as well as guide and lead numerous different meditations for every level.
I have been teaching all over Asia in various spaces and love sharing my knowledge of yoga asana, meditation, pranayama and philosophy. I love catering to the individual needs of my students, so if there's anything you want to learn, work on or ask, please let me know!
