Hi! My name is Jocelyn.
I am a science and anatomy-loving yoga instructor that is obsessed with gut health. Having lived with IBS (irritable bowel syndrome) for almost a decade, I understand the importance and value of a consistent yoga practice in alleviating and preventing digestive symptoms.
IBS (and related digestive disorders) and anxiety seem to go hand-in-hand. When we find an effective means of reducing our anxiety, our symptoms can improve too! Yoga has the tools needed to make this happen and I strive to deliver the extraordinary nervous system resilience of yoga to you.
I also understand that some days living with digestive issues are better than others. It is so unpredictable! I can tailor your yoga class to suit the needs of your body on the day of your class. Some days may require a gentler approach with focus on breath and relaxation. Other days may lend themselves to a more intense practice.
It is really up to you and what your needs are on the day of your class.
