I fell in love with yoga over thirty years ago while living in a little cabin in the woods in Quebec Canada . I have been teaching yoga since 2008 and find great joy sharing positive energy and a sense of calm connection with others.
I am a certified 500 hr Hatha yoga teacher with additional training in Yoga Nidra, Somayog, Yoga for Pelvic Health, Trauma-Informed Yoga and Subtle (Slow) Yoga. I am passionate about intentional slow movement because it restores calm and builds nervous system resilience. Slow, mindful yoga strengthens brain function and improves memory, focus and concentration and is suitable for everyone. No experience with yoga necessary.
When I am not teaching yoga I can be found in the college classroom where I teach child development and play-based learning theory. I am an Early Childhood Educator with a BA in Psychology and a M.Ed in Education.
