My yoga journey started in 2008 while living in San Diego, California. I wandered into a yoga class and left feeling mighty curious and glowing…. I loved it! I spent many years taking various classes and styles of yoga but really gravitated towards Power Vinyasa. In 2014 I went on to complete my 200-hour yoga certification and opened my own studio, Yoga Digs. For several years I enjoyed the business aspect of running a studio, leading some great events and partnerships and meeting some amazing students. This past year I have been living my best life abroad working & exploring life in different countries. I have had the challenge, and excitement of teaching students in Morocco, and India.
I am an RYT with Yoga Alliance and have traveled near and far to attend conferences, workshops, and festivals led by Bryan Kest, Tara Stiles, Kathryn Budig, MC Yogi and other great local teachers. I have felt most inspired by Seane Corn and have attended several days of continuing education intensives learning from her. Beyond the mat I enjoy traveling, photography, reading/writing, volunteering, music shows, chasing around my crazy cat Dora, politics, and some competitive running.
My style of teaching can best be described as creative with an opportunity to explore. I like to connect and make everyone feel special. I love music and enjoy playing some to go along with the flow (especially towards the end of the practice), and like to include some philosophy + inspirational thoughts, that I feel would be of benefit to my students. I really look forward to sharing this gift of yoga with this community!
