Yoga & Twerk (Pelvic Awakening) Group Class

The movement of the pelvis is so essential for a Woman's well being and vitality. The connection of asanas, breathing and dance movements bring us deep energetic and emotional release. When we connect with this area (our hips. our womb, our magic & creativity) we connect with our pleasure, sexuality & sensuality therefor we connect with life force energy and our deep wisdom.
In this practice we dive deep and explore!

Twerk is often seen as too "mainstream" and less "spiritual" by many, yet in reality this style of dance has deep roots in cultures and tribes of Africa. Back in the days the name twerk was inexistent yet the movement of the pelvis in this style was danced by Woman as a form of liberation and celebration. It has always been the most natural way for woman to move and still is, its powerful!

The benefits of this technique are priceless for us woman and really anyone for that matter. We can observe this technique in Belly Dance and of course the Jamaican Wine & Dancehall as well as many other styles today.
