Are you a runner? Whether you're a casual runner or training for a marathon, you should know that cross-training is very important for runners.
Running is a repetitive activity, which means we overuse some muscles and underuse others, which can cause muscular imbalances, which can in time cause injuries.
This is why I recommend runners to integrate Pilates into their fitness routine, which will help them strengthen and stretch their muscles and will complement their running-heavy routine.
