Anusaranga Yoga, a fusion of two styles that was born in Thailand thanks to Kru Dutchi, a teacher who, with her passion manages to communicate the essence of Yoga, not only from the physical point of view.
“If we can see our body, we can see our mind. If we can see our mind, we can understand life”.
Anusaranga is a dynamic and vigorous practice that is integrated with pranayama, vinyasa, arms balance and inversions. A gymnastics designed to open the heart of the practitioner to the possibilities offered by life, creating vibrations of the body, mind and spirit.
The heart theme is fundamental to the practice, with alignment principles taught by Anusara Yoga. A discipline that focuses on spiritual balance, where awareness and its expansion must be brought into daily life, out of the mat.
Anusara means “flowing with grace”, from one asana to another the movements are connected by vinyasa, creating a flow, purifying the body that has warmed up as in Ashtanga Yoga. Here is added the Ujjai breath synchronized with the movements and the activation of the Bandhas (blocks).
The life force is canalized inward, fixing the gaze at specific points. A harmonious flow of breath and movement, where the practitioner’s mind is moved away from the usual thoughts and taken to higher levels of awareness.
During the practice an intense body heat is generated, which purifies and dissolves all the muscles of the body, as well as the internal organs. Vinyasa restores the natural breath, ensuring optimal blood circulation. The result is a strong and light body, a free and relaxed mind, a condition of total balance with your body and mind.
Anusaranga Yoga is therapeutic, restorative and ends with meditation and mantras singing.
