Hello beautiful people,
I am very grateful for having the opportunity to connect with you!
Few words about me, I was born and raised in Athens, Greece, and I have been studying, performing and teaching about the Soma and its healing techniques in several different countries in Europe & US, such as France, Germany, Spain and New York City.
I started studying Dance Education in Germany until I got transferred to the Dance Department of Hunter College in New York City, where I received my second Bachelor Degree in Dance. I later got my MFA in Arts Leadership from Savannah College of Arts and Design, at the same time with the realisation of my festival that called All Souls Festival and its mission is to make space for disability in the arts.
I became a certified acupuncture therapist while studying next to important teachers in the US and Greece. Having a strong background in the meridian channels and alternative therapies, dance, aerial acrobatics, and professional Pilates and yoga training, I have an incredible passion for the body and its relationship with the mind.
I am also a certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach by the Institute of Integrative Nutrition in New York City, a Simonson technique, Duncan technique and Progressing Ballet Technique instructor. Finally, I am a certified 500 hours Advanced Yoga teacher with specialization in Meridian yoga, and Comprehensive Pilates instructor, with specialisation in Prenatal and Postnatal Pilates. I also teach Yoga for Kids, and Yoga for Trauma.
Aiming to use movement and other services to heal and to offer back to my community, my ambition is to connect people to their bodies in order to achieve emotional, mental, spiritual and physical harmony, and to activate the immense power of self-awareness, self-reference, and very importantly, of self healing.
During my yoga practice I focus on maintaining flow during a complete practice that blends stillness and powerfulness, and includes the training of the inner and outer body. According to my philosophy, embracing movement is a gift to the body and mind that helps them achieve a healthy relationship and balance.
Self-realisation together with movement awareness are keys to get closer to the best version of ourselves.
I mostly practice and teach Meridian yoga, Yin Yoga and Vinyasa, as well as Pranayama. I feel this to be one of my ways to be of service for the world, through sharing the ethical and physical principles of yoga, and while embracing love, kindness, awareness, connection and compassion.
Always remember to learn methods to Heal yourself. Use them on others or teach them to friends and family.
Please let me know if I can be of service in any other way. Feel free to ask questions, as well as make requests regarding subjects you want to research around holistic health and wellbeing!
