Hi I am Molly Rae from Mindful Molly :)
I am a Sivananda based yoga teacher from Toronto, Canada. I began practising yoga in 2009 and have been developing my own personal practice since then. I studied about mental health for years and have become passionate about yoga and meditation as a tool for balancing and maintaining good mental health. I completed a Bachelor's of Applied Science in Psychology, a Master's Degree in Social Work, and travelled to Mexico to complete my 200 hour yoga teacher training.
Since completing my yoga training to become a Sivananda yoga teacher, I have been teaching in Canada and Mexico regularly in class, private, and workshop settings. Completing the training changed my relationship with yoga, with myself, with others, and with my entire life.
I really believe in this yoga practice and its theoretical background. I love the way it uses asana to target each of the chakras, allows for invigoration and workout for most of the body's muscles, emphasizes periods of rest throughout, and includes traditional hatha yoga practices like chanting and pranayama.
It would be my honour to share my practice with you and I will do my vert best to meet you wherever you are. I really like keeping classes relaxing yet invigorating, to ease the stress many of us face in our modern Western society. I am also able to adjust to a faster or slower pace based on your level of energy or experience. I am really looking forward to seeing you on the screen!
