Hi! I'm so happy you're considering practicing yoga with me. So much of yoga is not about postures that look pretty for the camera, but about what's happening in our minds. I believe and I teach yoga in a way that is accessible to anyone who is open to the teachings of yoga.
I'm an E-RYT with Yoga Alliance, YACEP, MSEd, and Doula. My pronouns are she/her.

I am an expert in teaching adaptive and inclusive yoga, chair yoga, strong or supported hatha, and prenatal/postpartum yoga. I teach private clients who are working on a specific goal, like posture, reaching for objects above their heads, getting up from seated, or down from standing, those looking for birth support, and those who are healing postpartum.
I teach group classes at a studio, at school, at home, and at assisted and independent living facilities, that are inclusive of ALL abilities and ALL ages. My clients range in age from 10-100.

My style of teaching is an inquiry-based approach with a focus on the healing aspects of yoga – especially for the nervous system, self-regulation and body awareness, and for pregnancy, and postpartum core and pelvic floor recovery . Students often hear me saying something like, "how does it feel when you do this? Where do you feel, what do you feel if you do this? Where would you like to adjust to make this more accessible?" I believe in the physical benefits of yoga, and that we can make a shape meet us where we are that day, not force our bodies into a shape that doesn't feel good. Part of my commitment is to make yoga accessible for every body.
