Hi everyone, my name is Vera, I am yoga teacher and physiotherapist from Czech Republic and I would like to invite you for my special Medical yoga class. Whether you are struggling with some health issue, chronic pain or just want to discover healthy way of movement and give your body what it needs, this is the right class for you :)
Medical yoga class is based on anatomically correct movement. Connection between slow yoga and physiology will bring you better awareness of your own body, I will guide you correctly through the asanas and between them. Your movement will become more conscious and healthy for your bones, joints, muscles and soft tissues.
This class it’s not so much about difficult yoga postures, instead it will be more about slowly healthy way of movement, how to functionally warm up your body, bony structures, joints and muscles. We will be working with the neutral position of your pelvis, chest and shoulder blades and also neutral position of the spine, which will be the beginning point of every movement and every asana. This class is about moving the body in anatomically correct way, to not harm yourself and gain all the benefits for your body.
